REFUNDS & RETURNS

Every puppy deserves a healthy beginning, loving care and a family that truly understands the commitment of dog ownership.

Refunds & Returns

Our Commitment to Every MOSA Puppy

At MOSA Italian Grey Hound, we understand that purchasing an Italian Greyhound is an important decision and a long-term commitment.

Our puppies are living animals, and therefore our Refunds & Returns Policy differs from the return policy of a conventional retail product. We encourage every prospective owner to carefully consider their household, lifestyle, financial responsibilities, and ability to provide lifelong care before reserving a puppy.

Our priority is always the health, safety, and welfare of the puppy.

Puppy Reservations

Once a puppy has been reserved, the reservation payment is generally considered non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law.

A reservation payment may be used to secure a specific puppy and may prevent that puppy from being offered to another family.

Before making a reservation payment, buyers should ensure that they are ready and able to proceed with the purchase.

Changes of Mind

Because puppies are reserved specifically for individual families, a change of mind, change in personal circumstances, housing restrictions, financial circumstances, or inability to obtain permission to keep a dog does not automatically qualify the buyer for a refund.

We encourage prospective owners to ask questions and discuss any concerns with MOSA before placing a reservation.

Health-Related Issues

Every puppy leaves MOSA with the health information and veterinary documentation applicable to that puppy.

If a significant health concern is identified shortly after arrival, the buyer should contact MOSA promptly and provide written documentation from a licensed veterinarian.

Health-related claims are handled according to the MOSA Health Guarantee and the terms of the signed Puppy Purchase Agreement.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable agreement, a qualifying health claim may result in an available remedy such as replacement with a comparable puppy or refund of the original purchase price.

Returning a Puppy

MOSA is committed to the welfare of puppies and dogs placed through our program.

If, for any reason, you are no longer able to keep your MOSA Italian Greyhound, please contact us before selling, surrendering, or transferring the dog to another person or organization.

We will work with you to determine the safest and most appropriate solution.

Where required by the Puppy Purchase Agreement, the dog may need to be returned to MOSA or transferred through an arrangement approved by MOSA.

Returning a dog does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund unless a refund is specifically provided for under the applicable purchase agreement or required by law.

Non-Refundable Expenses

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, expenses that have already been incurred in preparing or transporting a puppy may not be refundable.

These may include:

  • Reservation payments

  • Transportation or delivery expenses

  • Veterinary expenses

  • Health certificates

  • Documentation fees

  • Import or destination-related expenses

  • Travel or boarding expenses

  • Other third-party charges

Any applicable fees and financial responsibilities will be communicated before the relevant service is arranged.

Delivery and Transportation

If a puppy has already been transported or delivery arrangements have been made, cancellation or changes may result in additional transportation or third-party charges.

Transportation fees paid to airlines, professional pet transport providers, veterinarians, government agencies, or other third parties may be subject to those providers’ own policies and may not be recoverable by MOSA.

Buyer Responsibilities

Before purchasing or reserving a puppy, buyers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Their residence permits dogs

  • Their household is prepared for a puppy

  • They can provide appropriate veterinary care

  • They understand the responsibilities of Italian Greyhound ownership

  • They can meet the puppy’s ongoing nutritional and care needs

  • They have reviewed applicable local requirements

  • They can legally import or receive the puppy at their destination

  • They have reviewed the purchase agreement and Health Guarantee

For international buyers, the buyer is responsible for providing accurate destination information and complying with applicable import requirements.

How to Request a Return or Make a Claim

If you believe your situation qualifies for a return, refund, or health-guarantee claim, please contact MOSA Italian Grey Hound as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  1. Your name and contact information

  2. Your puppy’s identification or purchase information

  3. The date of purchase or transfer

  4. A description of the circumstances

  5. Relevant veterinary documentation, where applicable

  6. Any supporting photographs or records that may assist with the matter

We will review the circumstances and respond according to the applicable Puppy Purchase Agreement, Health Guarantee, and applicable law.

Our Lifetime Commitment

Our relationship with our families does not end when a puppy leaves our care.

If life circumstances change, please contact us. We would much rather work with you to find a safe and responsible solution than have a MOSA Italian Greyhound placed in an unsuitable situation.

Our primary concern will always be the welfare of the dog.
